Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order?
You can place your order directly through our website. Simply choose your favourite Kind Kai treats, select your preferred pickup or delivery option, and checkout. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is received.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Kind Kai offers free local pickup from Pāpāmoa, Bay of Plenty.
Pickup times:

Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (order by Tuesday 12 p.m.)

Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (order by Friday 12 p.m.)
You’ll receive a message once your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation or provide your name on arrival.
Do you deliver locally?
Yes, we offer local delivery within 20 km of Pāpāmoa for a flat fee of $12.00.
Deliveries are made on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Delivery minimum: A minimum order of 4 tubs is required for delivery. Smaller orders are available for pickup only.
If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your order will be left in a safe, shaded spot. Please refrigerate your oats as soon as possible.
Do you ship outside Pāpāmoa?
At this stage, we don’t offer nationwide shipping as all Kind Kai products are freshly made and need refrigeration to stay at their best.
We’re working towards expanding our delivery range soon, so keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.
How should I store my overnight oats?
All Kind Kai products are freshly made and come labelled with a Best Before date.
Storage: Keep refrigerated (at or below 5 °C). May be frozen for up to 1 month. Thaw in fridge. Do not refreeze.
How long do the oats stay fresh?
Each tub is labelled with a Best Before date. Generally, your oats will stay fresh for up to 5 days when kept refrigerated.
Are your oats high in protein?
Yes! Every Kind Kai recipe is designed to be high in protein to help fuel your training, recovery, and busy day ahead.
Are your products dairy-free, gluten-free, or vegan?
Our overnight oats are not dairy-free, gluten-free or vegan. While we take great care to prevent cross-contamination, traces of allergens (including nuts, gluten, soy, and dairy) may be present.
If you have allergies or dietary sensitivities, please consume at your own risk.
Can I customise my oats?
Not at this stage. We’re a small team and currently focus on creating our core range of flavours to ensure consistency and freshness.
What packaging do you use?
We use recyclable tubs for all our overnight oats. Please rinse and recycle them after use to help reduce waste.
Why “Kind Kai”?
The name comes from our belief that being kind to your body through good kai helps you feel strong, energised, and balanced inside and out.
