Kind Kai Terms of Service

1. General Information

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Kind Kai website and all purchases made through it.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms, which are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and food safety for our customers and our business.

2. Products and Availability

All Kind Kai products are handmade in small batches in Papamoa, New Zealand.
Because our products are perishable and made fresh to order, availability may vary. We reserve the right to limit quantities or substitute ingredients when necessary, always maintaining quality and care.

3. Orders and Payments

Orders must be placed and paid for in full through our website before the stated cut-off times for pickup or delivery.
All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable.

4. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup: Available on Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Order by Tuesday 12 p.m. and Saturdays (10 a.m. – 11 a.m.) from Papamoa.
Delivery: Local delivery within 20 km of Papamoa is available for a flat fee of $12.
Orders placed after the cut-off time will roll over to the next pickup or delivery day.
Customers are responsible for collecting or accepting delivery within the stated timeframes.

5. Refunds and Returns

All products are perishable and made fresh to order.
Kind Kai does not offer refunds or returns unless we are at fault (e.g., incorrect order, damage, or quality issue).
Please choose your products carefully.

6. Food Handling and Storage

Best Before: Date stickered on each tub for freshness and safety..

Storage: Keep refrigerated (at or below 5 °C). May be frozen for up to 1 month. Thaw in fridge. Do not refreeze.

7. Allergens and Cross-Contamination

While every effort is made to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, soy, gluten, wheat, and dairy. Traces may be present in all products.
